9. Introduction In writing a letter concerning shipment, the following structure is still applicable: Open the letter in a positive way. Especially when negative information is conveyed, great care should be taken. Explain the problem in great detail to try to persuade the reader into accepting the request or to make the reader fully aware of the request.
