  2. The month of June was dedicated to honoring the incredible LGBTQ+ people from all backgrounds who have battled for their rights to equality, happiness, and community. There have been so many amazing and motivating coming-out stories throughout the years. They come in a wide variety. Some famous people want to keep things understated, while others have their entire life shaken up, and yet others just like to laugh it off. It only proves that there are just as many ways to come out as there are people in the world. It’s time to consider a few motivational and distinctive celebrity coming-out stories in the spirit of pride. Here are a few notable celebrities that make for compelling coming-out stories, although this list is endless. 1. Demi Lovato Lovato described her official coming out with her parents in 2017 as “really emotional but wonderful.” “I was sobbing and shivering and felt completely overwhelmed, but my parents are amazing and so encouraging.” 2. Kristen Stewart In her opening monologue on Saturday Night Live, Stewart, who came out in 2017, described herself as “so gay.” Later that year, she clarified that she was bisexual in an interview. “Being bisexual is not confusing, and for me, it’s the exact reverse, “she told the Guardian. 3. Miley Cyrus In an interview with Variety in October 2016, Cyrus talked about how she initially came out as pansexual and “figured out what it meant.” “I feel very neutral. My sexuality was better understood once I understood my gender, which was unassigned.” As I said, “Oh, so that’s why I don’t feel gay or straight. Because I’m not, that’s why.” 4. Ricky Martin “I am a lucky gay man, and I say this with pride. Being who I am is a great blessing to me. “Martin wrote on his blog in 2010.
