  2. The Chesapeake and Atlantic Coastal Bays 2010 Trust Fund was established in November, 2007 by Governor Martin O’Malley to provide a dedicated source of funding to accelerate Bay restoration by focusing financial resources on the most effective nonpoint source pollution control projects.

  3. Chesapeake & Atlantic Coastal Bays 2010 Trust FundLocal Implementation Grants • Original MD Legislation - $50 Million dollars/yr • Targeted to small watershed (30,000 acres • or less) • non-point source restoration activities • Maximum of 10% of funding available for monitoring

  4. 2010 TF Local Government Implementation Grant Recipients • Howard Co., Little Patuxent River • Queen Anne’s Co., Corsica River • Harford Co., Wheel Creek • Kent Co., Middle Chester River • Anne Arundel Co., Magothy River • Baltimore City • Talbot Co., Tred Avon
