Service to Council Members • Requirements • Hold 2 council meetings • Provide a professional growth activity • Options (pick 2) • Website or social media site • Video or slide show • Image brochure • Newsletter • Mentoring/Supporting Future and New Educators
Service to Local Community • Requirements • Participate in Young Authors Contest • Participate in Newspapers in Education Contest • Options (pick 2) • Celebrate Literacy Award • Family Reading/Special Reading Project • Community Service Project • International Literacy Day Celebration • Read for the Record Program • Read Across America Program • African-American Read- in Chain • Book Club Program • Literacy Project for school
