CONCEPT OF LOVE IN SHAKESPEARE • Shakespeare has written comedies and tragedies about love: • Love in comedy: frustrated and misunderstanding; • Love in tragedy: prohibited or obstructed and end with death. • Love is obstructed by somone or something. • At court the poetry was used to talk about Love. • The language was used to celebrate God.

THE LOVE IN ROMEO AND JULIET • They fall in love even if they don’t know who is the other person. • They love each other irrespective of belonging on families that hate each other. • Shakespeare use: • Courtly love: Juliet is as an angelic woman and she stands for innocence; • Celebration to God: it is the highest way to talk about love. • Due to love lovers die.

CONCEPT OF LOVE NOWADAYS • Nobody is able to explain what Love means. • What Love can mean: • it is an emotion that bring people to “another world”; • it lead to believe that everything is possible; • it is faith, dedication, respect and self-denial. • Perfect Love is expressed on movies. • Songs are used to show and demonstrate Love.

THE LOVE IN SONGS • Love song is called so when: • it is about experiences lived with an important person in your life; • it declares what makes the other person beautiful; • it affirm that you can’t live without your lover; • it express feelings and memories that make you feel good. • Love songs are about: • Falling in love • Relationship • End of the relationship

  7. CONCLUSION • The language of Love is always existed and it will never end. The differences are about the world’s vision and culture: • in Renaissance life’s man was based on religious values; • now the religion and man are like two differnts words: every man has a different values on which he based his life; • in Renaissance the language of Love was expressed in poetries because poetry was used at court where people talk about Love; • now the language of Love is expressed in movies or songs because it is easy show love to people all over the world.
