  1. Strategy: No-Limit Introduction to the Big Stack Strategy (BSS)

  2. See the money, that you put down on the table, as an investment. Bankroll management means, in what limits you can invest, in order to... …get as far ahead as possible when you win …not fall too hard when you lose Bankroll management for the big stack strategy: You always go in with a full stack, so 100 BB, onto the table (100 BB = 1 Buy-in) If you have enough for 25 buy-ins on the next limit, you can move up to that limit If you have only 25 buy-ins worth for the next lower limit, you must move down Even the world‘s best players go broke, when they don‘t stick to a good BRM! What is Bankroll Management (BRM)?

  3. Your profit comes from the mistakes your opponent‘s make, and vice-versa! The most frequent mistakes made by opponents (till NL100) are: They play too many hands and even weakers hands. They play too passively. They can‘t let go of their cards. They bluff too much and at the wrong time. They don‘t take their table-position into consideration. They don‘t practise good bankroll management. What you can do to avoid being such a player: You play only certain, selected hands. You play in aggressively You have no issues folding, if it‘s going to be unprofitable. You seldom bluff, and that too only in appropriate situations. Your factor your table-position into your decision making. You practise good bankroll management. How do you win at No-Limit Hold´em?

  4. Play tight! You play only selected starting hands. Lots of hole cards look good, but really aren‘t. You know, when it‘s going to be too expensive to stay in the pot, and are capable of just folding your hand. Play aggressive!! You decide what the betting is going to be like, instead of just calling others‘ bets. You put your opponents under pressure, so they start making mistakes Play in position!!! It‘s dangerous to want to win money, when you‘re not as well-positioned as your opponent on the table Playing in position gives you an enormous advantage with information gathering There are always more profitable moves possible The tight-aggressive game (TAG)

  5. The cornerstones of your success are: Solid bankroll management. The consistent application of the tight-aggressive playing mode. In higher limits, you will eventually adapt your playing style, however the fundamentals would always remain the same. Good luck Summary
