  3. Proud Father CM21 PID Session, Daresbury Lab , June 5, 2008 - CKOV Update, L. Cremaldi

  4. Reflector Panels and LED • Reflector Panels are made of tyvek material on foam board. • A single blue LED is placed at the center. Imperial Stand

  5. Environmental Sensors • Each CKOV has a temperature and humidity sensor with readback in the control room. • Daresbury Lab Epics panels are being prepared. Temperature/Humidity Sensors CM21 PID Session, Daresbury Lab , June 5, 2008 - CKOV Update, L. Cremaldi

  6. CKOVb R8 to MICE Hall

  7. Installed at MICE Hall (thanks William) ckovb ckova Oxford stand table bracket

  8. First pion - thanks JS. gva2 ckov-ch1 ckov-ch2 ckov-ch3 ckov-ch4 (not shown)

  9. CKOV Reconstruction ckovb muon pion ckova Digital Reco - Determine Prob(mu)-Prob(pi) by ON-OFF reco pattern per momentum region I, II, III. I. II. III. • Analogue Reco - Determine Prob(mu)-Prob(pi) by expected and seen light yields per momentum region I, II, III. • - PE(x,y) light map required. • - TOF0(x,y)/CKOV coincidence.

  10. G4-Beamline and Material Budget CM21 PID Session, Daresbury Lab , June 5, 2008 - CKOV Update, L. Cremaldi

  11. Summary • CKOV Installation went well. Many thanks! • CAEN +HV system from HERA?? K.Long • Drawings updated. Mike Reep • Finish dry gas system ASAP. • EPICs displays (w Daresbury). • Awaiting muons (PE calibrations). • Begin work on basic digital and analogue reco. • Update G4-Beamline with material budget. • Advanced G4 light simulations may not be necessary if data measurements taken?
