  4. Introduction Sorry for the bad news, but times are a’changing. No longer can you afford to hold-off on your anti-aging campaign until your 50-something. You have to start. Not now, but, RIGHT NOW! *Don’t worry, I’ll wait for you as you digest this news* I know you probably still got youthful and glowing skin despite not making the slightest effort, but the aging process will soon be noticeable. Little by little, your skin begins losing collagen, elastin-the tissues that keep the skin supple-and hyaluronic acid. Now is the time to reinforce your skincare regimen and improve your daily habits. Sadly for all of us, there's no magic potion out there that can stop aging nor are there ways to reverse the damage that is already done, but what you CAN do is taking the absolute best care of what you have, and ensuring that you're happy and confident with it. That’s why I’ve decided to compile this beauty guide, so you can achieve your best skin now, and through every stage of your life. 5. Basic Aging Knowledge If life is about change, skin is proof. Our skin is at the mercy of many forces as we age, some of them we cannot control; others we can influence. One of the things we cannot change is the natural aging process, but thankfully, by taking some preventive actions, we can slow the effects aging has on our skin. The list of aging factors we cannot control includes normal aging, exposure to the sun, genetics, gravity and loss of subcutaneous support. On the other hand, there are a variety of personal factors that can be controlled or influenced by you and these are: your lifestyle, eating and sleeping habits, daily facial movements and other personal conducts. For instance, are you a smoker or did you ever smoke? Smoking can produce free radicals, once-healthy oxygen molecules that are now overactive and unstable. Photoaging Over time, the sun's ultraviolet (UV) light damages certain fibers in the skin called elastin. The breakdown of elastin fibers causes the skin to sag, stretch, and lose its ability to snap back after stretching. The skin also bruises and tears more easily and takes longer to heal. So while sun damage may not show when you're young, it will later in life. Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 4

  6. Subcutaneous Changes Loss of fatty tissue between the skin and the muscle in areas such as the cheeks, temples, chin, nose and eye area may result in loosening skin, sunken eyes and a "skeletal" appearance. Gravity and Facial Movement Gravity and facial movement are the secondary factors that contribute to changes in the skin. When the skin loses its elasticity, gravity causes drooping of the eyebrows and eyelids, looseness and fullness under the cheeks and jaw and longer ear lobes. Facial movement lines become more visible after the skin starts losing its elasticity (usually as people reach their 30s and 40s). Lines may appear horizontally on the forehead, vertically on the skin above the root of the nose (glabella), or as small curved lines on the temples, upper cheeks and around the mouth. Personal Habits Sleep creases result from the way the head is positioned on the pillow and may become more visible after the skin starts losing its elasticity. Sleep creases are commonly located on the side of the forehead, starting above the eyebrows to the Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 5

Smokers tend to have more wrinkles than nonsmokers of the same age, complexion, and history of sun exposure. 8. Basic Skin Knowledge What is a Healthy Skin? On a functional level, it means your skin is working properly. It means it’s sufficiently hydrated and therefore able to protect you from environmental damage. When your skin is well cared for, you’re free from dryness. Healthy skin feels calm and looks gorgeous. The Benefits of Healthy Skin: 1. Healthy skin is your first line of defense Skin is your body’s largest organ, accounting for around 16% of your body weight. It’s most important functions are keeping moisture in and keeping bad stuff out. The top layer of skin protects you against infection-causing microbes and bacteria. However, this layer is also highly susceptible to dryness and damage. If dryness penetrates too deeply, it affects skin cells, leaving them too weak and underdeveloped to protect you from the outside world. Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 7

  9. 2. Health That You Can See Skin’s surface reflects what’s going on underneath. If skin cells are tight and stiff, your skin will feel itchy and uncomfortable at the surface. Skin damage can begin days before you see any signs of dryness. If dryness penetrates the skin’s layers too deeply, it can lead to visible damage like flaky or irritated skin. 3. Skin is your Lifelong Companion Due to natural renewal processes, the top layer of your skin today isn’t the same you had when you were 5 years old, or even a month ago. Skin changes as you grow. From soft, sensitive baby skin to adolescent oiliness to the drier skin of later years, your skin is there to protect you through it all. Just like exercising and watching what you eat, caring for your skin is a major factor in maintaining overall health. Keep skin healthy by using a moisturizer regularly. 10. Early Stages of Your Skin From the silky smoothness of a baby's skin to the hormonal acne of a 15-year-old, perhaps nothing reflects the movement of time as well as our skin. Here is a look at a woman's skin through her early life stages. Infancy and childhood These are the golden years of a female's skin and should be treated as such. By and large, children's skin is the healthiest health care professionals see. But this is also the time when the greatest damage-albeit unseen-may occur. That's why it's so important to protect children from the sun with the appropriate clothing, hats and sunscreen, as well as keep them out of the sun during its most intense hours. Teenage years This is acne time, triggered by an increase in androgen production that results in increased oil production. A more serious problem in teenage girls, however, is their quest for a tan. Just four in ten adolescent wear sunscreen, while only a third says they limit their sun exposure. Teenage girls also flock to tanning booths, with nearly one in four 15-year olds and older saying they use tanning beds. The devices are Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 9

  11. just as dangerous as the sun, if not more. Just 15 to 30 minutes in a tanning salon is the equivalent of an entire day at the beach. Additionally, tanning beds, booths and sunlamps radiate both UVB rays and long wave UVA rays that penetrate the skin more deeply than sunlight, making it even more vulnerable to the effects of the sun and increasing the risk of skin cancer. It’s important that at this age the daily habit of using sunscreen is promoted by the parents. Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 10

  12. Beauty Through the Ages Age has come to be more than just a number. With hundreds of brilliant ingredients that can turn back time, sometimes we end up falling for a ‘one-size-fits-all’ product. In fact, many skincare products on the market claim to be designed for a specific age group. Before you buy into any niche age bracket when choosing skin-care products, ask yourself where do you really fit in? Has your skin aged more than the average 20-year-old? Are your wrinkles not as bad as most 45-year old’s? Plenty of products in the market promise to make our skin better, a miracle ingredient might just work in your 20’s but not in your 40’s. To clear up the confusion, what you need to know is that skin has different needs that are based on skin type, not on age. Truth be told, there is no magic potion out there that can prevent wrinkles or make them disappear. Your beauty routine depends on how dry, sun-damaged, oily, sensitive, thin, blemished, or normal your skin is. Not everyone your age will have the same skin type as you. Some issues such as rosacea, psoriasis, allergies, and other skin disorders have nothing to do with age. What we need to do is protect the outer barrier of our skin in exactly the same way. By avoiding unnecessary direct sun exposure, not irritate your skin, and only use skincare products with ingredients targeting your concern. Using sunscreen daily and keeping your skin hydrated with a rich moisturizer can do wonders for your skin. Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 11

  13. Skin type doesn’t have to be defined by your age. If you’re older, your skin is indisputable compared to younger skin. Plenty of young women have dry skin, and plenty of older women can deal with oily skin and breakouts. Women with perimenopausal or menopausal hormone fluctuations can often deal with skin changes. Turning 50 does not mean a woman should assume that her skin is drying up and that she must use “mature” products. After all, those are almost always designed for dry skin, and are in no way different from any of the other skincare products for dry skin in the market. Mature products often have emollient and hydrating ingredients while younger skincare is keen on stripping away oil. Plump and collagen-infused products are always targeted towards mature skin types, when we all need to add more elastin to our skincare routines. Targeting older or younger skin concerns with products aimed at your age can generalize what your skin actually needs. While wrinkles may tend to separate younger from older skin, your skin can still be oily at 60 and you can still struggle with breakouts. Not everyone in their 40s, 50s, 60s, or 70s have the same issues. Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 12

  14. What Happens to Your Skin in Your 20s, 30s and 40s With each decade, our skin undergoes plenty of natural, hormonal and intrinsic changes. From decreased collagen production, fine lines, thinner skin and reduced oil gland activity. Each decade requires a different approach with our age-related skincare regimen. Your 20s Though you can’t reverse all age-related skin changes, you can slow the aging process by taking good care of your skin. As soon as we enter into our 20s, all of our aging skin challenges will start to creep up. The products you use in your teens just won’t cut it anymore. At this point you’ll still have plenty of collagen to keep your skin supple and plump. However, year after year your skin will produce 1% less collagen for a slower cell turnover. Your skin will be noticeably more discolored, increased dullness and less hydrated. During your mid-20s, your weight will tend to fluctuate with every single thing you eat. It’ll be normal to experience an increase in body fat due to a slower metabolic rate. Your menstrual cycle will start to become more predictable and regular. If you start to notice an increase in breakouts when you’re near your period, it’s caused by a surge in estrogen and progesterone. Your skin will keep track of everything that you do from being out in the sun too long or not hydrating enough. All of these Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 13

  15. effects will lead to issues later on in life. You’ll be experiencing gradual muscle and bone loss by the time you reach your late 20s. By the time you enter into your late 20’s, fine lines will start to appear. Get a head start on keeping your skin and body in shape with an active lifestyle and weight-training. Your 30s Once you’ve entered into your 30s, it can surely bring about some very unsettling changes. Your skin might be looking drier and your body might not be recovering from binge-eating than you were used to in your 20s. Faint fine lines and wrinkles might begin to appear and turn into full blown crow’s feet if you’re not taking care of your skin. Blotchy hyperpigmentation from sunburns and even adult acne could throw you in for a loop in your skincare routine. Hormonal imbalance can cause your skin to look dull and lackluster even after taking 8+ hours of sleep. Hormones are one of the biggest contributors to saggy, lifeless skin and thinning hair. In the middle of your 30s are exactly when hormonal changes start. Your reproductive hormones levels begin to taper off, leadings to a drop-in collagen production. When you’re 18 years old, growth hormone levels are around 900 but by the time you’re 30, they drop to 200. Hormones play a part in nearly every major body function. Slower growth hormone levels would interfere with insulin, raise blood sugar levels, and increase fat around the waist and cause weak muscles and bones. 16. Your 40s When it comes to your complexion, your 40s may undergo rapid change. This is the time of transition, where pre-menopause begins and brings a large drop in estrogen as the body prepares for menopause. Say goodbye to estrogen in your 40s leading to bone loss which affects the structure of your face and your appearance. More wrinkles creep in, age spots appear and our skin starts to sag. Our skin will be more susceptible to dull skin and puffiness with our lymphatic system slowing down. Skin cells will stop maturing, causing a dull complexion. Sebum production will cease making our skin becomes more susceptible to dryness. In your 40s it’s important to focus on reducing your caloric intake in order to maintain your weight with a slow acting metabolism. Strength training is a must to boost your metabolism. You might notice more redness on your skin due to broken capillaries and visible blood vessels. The older we get, the fat under our skin tends to deplete leading to sensitive skin that can easily damage. Our lymphatic drainage slows down making it harder to remove toxins which can lead to puffiness around your eyes and cheeks. 17. Guide to Ensuring a Glowing Skin at Any Age Embracing Your 20‘S ● State of Your Skin Your 20’s can surely be a roller-coaster. With your estrogen at its peak, this is the time when women have their best complexion ever with luminous, taut, and even-toned skin. Your hormone levels will tend to shift around, leading to the occasional breakouts, more oil production, inflamed pores and blackheads. Your acne scars will be forever the bane of your existence, you might have outgrown your teenage acne years but those scars will be your biggest worry. When it comes to the list of skincare issues to worry about, aging and wrinkles should be at the top. Wrinkles can appear not only due to aging but ultraviolet damage from sun exposure and damages to collagen levels. ● Beauty Diet Your lifestyle will play a big role in how your skin looks. Are you drinking enough water? Are you consuming alcohol more than ever? These habits can pose a threat to healthy skin and lead to unwanted damage. Skincare doesn’t just start with your Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 16

  18. face and end there. What you eat and drink, or lack thereof, could cause your skin to either age gracefully or little on the rough side. Learn to feed your body with the right nutrients in your 20s to prevent diseases and live a happy life. The best foods to eat in your 20s start with protein with chicken, steak or tofu. Your body is still growing and protein is one essential building block in this age group. If you’ve started spending more time around alcohol, cleansing the liver using a detox drink with lemon juice, onions and garlic will go a long way. Boost your diet with rich foods that keep you hydrated and balance your hormones such as blueberries, yogurt, walnuts, and oatmeal. ● Skincare Routine For a skincare regimen that works in your 20s, start with a cleansing routine. Use a cleanser every morning and night that will simultaneously clean off makeup residue, fight bacteria and clogged pores. For the occasional breakouts, using a salicylic acid acne mask all over your skin and a spot treatment will help to clear it. For oily skin types, a non-alcohol toner will balance oils without overly drying. Witch hazel works wonderfully as a tone for aggravated, acne-prone skin. Sun damage can easily age you to cause fine line, pigmentation and wrinkles. It takes almost 10 to 15 years to truly see the visible effects of sun exposure. Wearing physical sunblocks with titanium or zinc dioxide are highly recommended to protect Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 17

  19. from harsh sun rays. Apply sunscreen with SPF 20+ at least 15 minutes before stepping out into the sun. Before heading to bed, a night cream and eye cream with Hyaluronic acid will plump the skin and help with any fine lines that may be creeping up. Hyaluronic acid works as a hydrator for the skin under deeper epidermis layers to reduce wrinkles, redness and dermatitis. ● Makeup Routine Experimenting with your makeup will help you figure out what works best for you. To start off with, mastering your complexion routine will go a long way in your 30s and 40s. A flawless under eye coverage will help clear any dark shadows. Using the right concealer and foundation combination will even out your skin tone and set the base for your entire look. ❖ Day Look: Your day to day look should be sheer and effortless. Applying too much on your skin will hide your youthful beauty with your naturally rosy cheeks and freckles. Stick to using a BB cream, a light peach blush, bronzer, mascara and a lip tint for a lightweight and quick makeup look. 20. ❖ Night Look: If you’re heading out, going heavier with your eye makeup will set the tone for an evening look. Play with a little color on your eyes with shimmery jewel tones for a deeper look. Double up on your blush and highlighter to pull your night out makeup look together. ● Workout Routine Getting 20-30 minutes of physical activity into your day to day routine will help set the bar for a healthy lifestyle. Your 20s is the perfect time to adopt a weight training routine. Putting on muscle and toning your body is easier to build up some strength early on in life. Exercises and stretches will help increase bone mass, strengthen your knees, and elongate your spine will go a long way in your 30s. The Plank position is an excellent way to stretch out your entire body, build flexibility and keep your spine healthy. To pump up your blood flow, riding a bike or briskly walking every morning will improve oxygenation leading to healthier skin. ● Sleep Schedule To keep your skin clear and your body energized, 7-8 hours of sleep every night will help control your cortisol levels to reduce inflammation. Sleep is essential for a healthy, functioning body and mind. If you’re pulling in all-nighters- sleeplessness Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 19

  21. may lead to depression, diabetes, and diminished ability to learn and retain information. Set yourself up for continuous night of sleep. Put your phone away at least an hour before you hit the pillow and infuse calming aromatic scents in your room to relax your mind. ● Stress Management At this stage in your life, you’ll be working harder than you ever have. With that comes a stress packed day to day routine. To unwind and recharge yourself, a healthy dosage of self-care is crucial. Preserve your mental health and give yourself a break from anything that causes stress. Take an appointment for a relaxing facial or massage to get in some special me time. It’s beyond beneficial to spend time with your girlfriends to detox from any conflicts and reflect on your concerns. Finding Fun ● If your life seems to be transitioning more than you’d like, it’s more important now to have fun with your life. You can take this decade as a time to travel alone to discover new places or hobbies. Traveling alone will help you find independence and to reflect on your future goals. Spend more time outdoors and less time online to live in the moment. Put away the negative self-talk and learn to live freely and openly to enjoy the moment. 22. Embracing Your 30‘S ● State of Your Skin This is the start of a precipitous decline in your skin. Slowly your once flawless and youthful complexion will now evolve into fine lines, blemishes and pigmentation. This is the decade when your estrogen levels first begin to dip, slowing your cell turnover causing saggy skin and dryness. Stress or hormonal swings due to pregnancy or medications can take a toll on your skin with acne flare-ups, inflammation and melasma. Your body’s metabolism starts to slow down once you reach your thirties making your skin much thinner and less plump. Your skin will look more tired, dry and prone to sensitivity. Age spots and broken capillaries can start to show caused by sun damage. ● Beauty Diet Depending on how well you lived your 20s, this is the decade when healthy eating habits will be crucial to healthy, youthful skin. A balanced diet rich with fruits and vegetables will help keep your weight balanced. High fiber foods are essential to regular blood sugar levels and metabolism in your 30s. Avoiding processed, Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 21

  23. saturated foods as well as limiting your dairy intake will regulate your hormone levels. A diet high vitamin C will produce collagen synthesis, leading to less wrinkles. Intake fruits and vegetables high in vitamin C such as lemons, oranges, broccoli, blueberries, tomatoes, red pepper and kiwi. Skincare Routine Some women begin to see frown lines or forehead lines in their 30s and may even have early signs of crow’s feet. By this age, you might be dealing with melasma, sun damage, dry patches and discoloration. Lightweight moisturizers and serums will also help brightening your skin. Vitamin C infused skincare products will brighten and even tone your complexion. Your next challenge is to minimize fine lines and boost collagen production with the help of Retinoids and Retinol. To plump up and firm your skin, retinol infused night creams will reduce fine lines and wrinkles to stimulate new blood vessels in the skin. If you’re pregnant, your skin will lose moisture more easily with your progesterone hormone which dilates blood vessels causing sensitivity. Even if you aren’t expecting a baby in your 30s, rosacea can flare up due to stress, alcohol and a stagnant lifestyle. Boost hydration using an essence or hydrating toner will help with any discoloration and dry patches. Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 22

  24. ● Makeup Routine Your makeup collection will need a makeover once you’re in your 30s. With changes in your skin such as fine lines, enlarged pores and hyperpigmentation- your products will not work the same way from your 20s. Skip out on using a matte finish and stick to dewy foundations for a healthier glow. ❖ Day Look: A hydrating foundation and full coverage concealer that doesn’t settle into fine lines will stay budge proof all day. Keep your powder light to avoid any caking and creasing to keep your base seamless. Pay more attention to your eyebrows, filling them in to cover any sparse areas will define your arch and frame your face. Use a powder brow product for a natural look. Finish off your day look with a nude lip and a rosy pink blush for a little color to your cheeks. ❖ Night Look: Spend more time on your complexion if you’re planning to get photographed. Keep it even and natural for a more lightweight appearance to the skin that will look flawless in selfies. For the eyes, a light neutral tone matte eyeshadow will open up and widen your eyes. Buff out a slightly darker eyeshadow on the outer corner for a more lifted effect. Thicken your lashes with a volume boosting mascara or false eyelashes for a fuller look. Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 23

  25. ● Workout Routine If you’re too busy getting in your cardio with your hectic work and home schedule, you’re 30s will not make it any easier. Your body will undergo changes to its muscles, body fat, organs and bone density. Lean muscles will decrease and body fat will increase. Your weight during your 30s will be stubborn and difficult to come off. To help keep your bones strong and your muscles tight, strength training using weights or your own body weight as resistance will help you stay on track to build muscle and keep your body strong and lean. Running and cycling is a quick workout to get your heart rate pumping. You don’t have to spend an hour at the gym to get your cardio in. Take a brisk walk or go for a swim with a friend to make it more fun. ● Sleep Schedule Lack of sleep in your 30s can result in a slew of skin issues. If you’re sleep deprived, your skin will not be producing enough collagen to keep your skin plump and firm. When you’ve entered into a deep sleep stage of rest, growth hormones are at its peak and result in stimulated tissue repair. Getting a full 8 hours’ worth of rest will benefit your skin in the long run. It’s important to note the way you sleep will also help your skin stay youthful, a silk pillowcase instead of a standard cotton one will prevent fine lines and creases while Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 24

  26. you sleep. These lines can become visible as you age from the side of your forehead, temples, or cheeks. ● Stress Management Stress is inevitable as we age, huge life transitions such as work and kids can heighten stress levels and effect your well-being. Manage your time more effectively by keeping a planner to journal your tasks for the day, week and month. Add in time for self-care such as a bubble bath or a night out with your girlfriends to calm your stressors. Take time to unwind at any point by meditating, reading a book or putting on your favorite music during your downtime. ● Finding Fun This is the time to try out something new that will help you be a little more adventurous. When you feel-good, you look good. Spend quality time with friends either head out for a weekend trip to the beach or an overseas vacation. For the more daring, take up dance classes to get in some aerobic activity to improve your balance and coordination. You will instantly feel a pick-me-up with the right moves and music. 27. Embracing Your 40‘S ● State of Your Skin Your 40s is the year of estrogen on the decline and before actual menopause. Your skin will start to change in texture with a hormonal shift taking place. Estrogen is hugely impacted by the quality of our skin. With a slower cell turnover, fine lines around the eyes, middle of the forehead, and around the mouth all become deeper. Skin feels less plump with sagging skin and increase in facial hair. When estrogen levels drop during menopause, hyaluronic acid levels in our skin decreases drastically and drop elastin resulting in more sagging skin. Hyperpigmentation will be some of the more prominent changes to your complexion, brown spots or freckles can develop after prolonged exposure to ultra violet rays. If you’re noticing fine lines and deep creases, a youth renewal serum infused with hyaluronic acid will do the trick. ● Beauty Diet As we start to lose lean muscle mass into our 40s, it’s important to have high-quality protein in your diet such as ground sirloin, eggs and chicken. Spreading out your Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 26

  28. meals throughout the day will help your body benefit more from your daily protein intake to help preserve lean muscle mass. A healthy, well-balanced diet with fresh fruits and vegetables will help preserve the quality of your skin. Avoid taking in sugar and refined carbohydrates as it can spike your insulin levels, resulting in inflammation throughout your body. Inflammation can accelerate aging with more wrinkles and sagging skin while breaking down collagen and elastin levels. ● Skincare Routine Sun protection should be your top priority with maturing skin. The sun is your biggest enemy, go for a sunscreen that isn’t overly drying on your skin. A hydrating sunscreen formula with zinc oxide instead of titanium dioxide is more effective in blocking harmful UVA rays. For any texture on your skin, exfoliating acids such as high-performance retinol can be the magic ingredient to fight visible signs of aging. To combat a lackluster complexion, glycolic acid infused cleanser, toner or moisturizer can reveal a healthy glow by chemically exfoliating dead-skin cells. During perimenopause with estrogen levels dropping, your skin will be drier than ever. To add intense hydration without the excess grease than a regular moisturizer, a potent hyaluronic acid serum will restore moisture balance to reduce premature wrinkles, redness and dermatitis. Skincare ingredients such as peptides, acids, and retinol will stimulate fibroblast to boost cell metabolism and produce new collagen. Join the Movement at BubblesandButter.com/VIP | Follow us on the gram’ @bubblesandbutterxo 27

  29. ● Makeup Routine With mature skin come uneven texture and sun spots, prepping your complexion before applying any makeup is essential for a less is more look. When estrogen levels start to decrease, the skin can feel and look dehydrated and parched. Go for cream-based products to keep the skin looking hydrated and radiant all day. ❖ Day Look: A good serum or primer will fill in fine lines for a smoother base for your foundation. Pressing the primer into the skin instead of rubbing it on will blur away any expression lines and enlarged pores. For a daytime look, a tinted moisturizer will add enough coverage without looking cakey. Dab on a little cream highlighter above your blush to add dimension and glow. Finish off a subtle look with a lip liner and a hydrating lipstick formula for a fuller pout. A coral or nude tone lipstick color will flatter your lips and keep them hydrated. ❖ Night Look: A youthful looking complexion calls for a hydrating foundation with medium coverage for a more natural and dewy finish. Apply any cream with a damp makeup sponge, from foundation to cream blush and bronzer. Avoid caking on too much powder since it can dehydrate the skin and settle into fine lines. With age our eyelid area changes shape and can look downturned or droopy. To bring out a lifted eye shape, accentuate the upper lash line with a dark brown eyeshadow to create a fuller lash look and a defined eye. Finish off with a deep mauve lip color for a night time look. ● Workout Routine Maintaining bone and muscle mass is key to keeping your joints strong. Lift weights at least two times a week for an hour to steadily help strengthen muscles around your knees, shoulders and lower back. Choose one exercise to target each muscle group before trying another. Cardio work out will help reduce body fat to keep your weight under control, at least three days a week for 30 minutes.
