  2. Introduction • Object Obtain number of automobiles, buses, trucks and motorcycles in each state from 1960 to 2005. • Source Federal Highway Administration (http://www.fhwa.dot.gov/policy/ohpi/hss/hsspubsarc.htm)

  3. Results (1) –Number of Vehicle Type per Year in California Number of automobiles kept increasing since 1960. Yet in 1993, it decreased. After the decrease, it has been increasing. Number of trucks has been increasing 1960-2005. Number of buses has been increasing since 1960. Number of motorcycles increased since 1960, however, it decreased from 1980 to 1998. Since 1998, it has again increased.

  4. Results (2) –Number of Vehicle Type per Year in Missouri Number of Automobiles growth has been unstable after 1971 after the its growth. Number of trucks has been increasing since 1960. Number of buses is slowly increasing since 1960. Number of motorcycles grew rapidly since 1970, however, it largely decreased since 1980. After 2001, it has been slowly increasing.

  5. Conclusion • Numbers of trucks and buses have been increasing since 1960 for all states. • After 1980, number of motorcycles kept decreasing for all states, after about year of 2000, it has started to increase. • Number of automobiles increases for all states until 1970. After the year, the growth differs in each state.
