  1. Jules Verne the mysterious island The book that I read is called<<The mysterious Island>>. It is written by the French, but internationally known, famous author Jules Vern. It was published in 1874. The mysterious Island is a science fiction book full of. Jules Verne used a lot of science in his book, but he ‘composed’ it with exciting adventures and an excellent representational way.

  2. characters • The characters of this book are the five Americans: Captain Smith the mechanic, his dog Top, his servant, the journalist Gideon Spilet , the sailor Penkroft and the youngman Charmpert Brown.

  3. THE CHARACTER THAT I LIKE BEST The character that I like best is Captain Smith . He was a mechanic and he knew so many things about science and he used this knowledge to survive. He knew all about different materials, explosive things and geological phenomena .

  4. Favourite characters I like all of the characters because all of them were really brave. All had their specialties at different things, but they became a team to face up the dangers and stay alive –survive.

  5. The plot The book is about the adventures of five American war prisoners on an uncharted island in the South Pacific. American Civil War: as famine and death ravage the city of Richmond, Virginia, five northern POWs decide to escape in a rather unusual way – by hijacking a balloon! This is only the beginning of their adventureson the mysterious island…

The question I would like to ASK my favourite character The question that I wanted to ask Captain Smith, my favourite character, is: “Captain Smith, how do you fellafter having saved four people only with your knowledge?” I guess he would answer something like that: Answer: “ Well, I am proud of having saved these four people, but I am also happy that I am alive too”.
