  1. Key Club09.18.13 Thanks for Coming! Please take a seat in the FRONT of the auditorium!

  2. Play for All Work Day • When: Fri. Sept. 27 Sat. Sept. 28 9am-12pm (15 Spots) • Where: The Play For All Sensory Gardens (Danada South Park by the intersection of Naperville Rd and Warrenville Rd) Next to the Danada Forest Preserve) • What: Help set up for the groundbreaking ceremony of the playground.

  3. ELL Parent Teacher Night • When: Sept. 30 5:45-7:45pm (4 Spots) • Where: Wiesbrook School (2160 DurfeeRoad, Wheaton) • What: Playing/watching kids until parents are done with their meeting. Free food included.

  4. Childcare • When: Tues. Oct. 1 and 8 and Thurs. Oct. 3 and 10 • Where: Johnson Elementary School • Time: 6:00-8:40 • 3 Spots/day • What: Playing with kids while parents take English classes.

  5. Ghost Stories in the Park in the Dark • When: • Fri. Oct. 4th, 11th 6-8:30 pm • Sat. Oct. 5th, 12th 5-9:30 pm • Sun. Oct. 6th, 13th 6-8:30 pm • Where: Riverwalk Grand Pavilion, 500 W. Jackson Ave, Naperville IL • Who: 1-2 Volunteers minimum age 15 years and older. Please dress for the weather. • What: Help set up and take down scenery, etc for the show. Help serve cider and cookies after the show.

  6. NAMI Bag Filling • When: Oct. 2nd right after the meeting for about an hour • Where: Our commons • What: Filling bags for the NAMI run. An easy hour! • Unlimited Spots

  7. Tickets for Whittier Fun Fair • When: Wed. Oct. 9th right after the meeting • Where: Our commons. • What: Helping the PTA moms do the tickets for the Fun Fair that coming weekend. • Unlimited Spots

  8. Stadium Decorations • When: Oct. 4 and Oct. 11 (10 Spots/Day) • 2:15-4, Stay a few minutes after the game to pop balloons and such • Where: Meet by the ticket booth • What: Setting up the balloons, banners, etc. for the game!

  9. Halloween Happening • When: Oct. 18th 4-9pm (35 Spots) • Where: Wheaton Park District Building (1777 S. Blanchard Rd) • What: Either being a character for the Trick or Treat Trail or helping work games for kids.

  11. Football Game Concessions • Where: Concession stand • Oct. 11: 4:30 – 6:30 (2 Spots) or 6:30 – 8:30 (4 Spots)

  12. NAMI Run for the Mind • When: Oct. 5th 7am-12pm • UNLIMITED • What: Set up, time runners, guide runners, etc. • Where: Danada Forest Preserve on Naperville Rd.

  13. Lincoln Clothing Sale (8 SPOTS OPEN) • When: • Fri Oct. 4th 3pm-6pm and Sat. Oct. 5th 10:30am-1pm • Friday: Full • Saturday: 8 Spots Open • Where: Lincoln Elementary School (630 Dawes Ave. Wheaton) • What: Set up, helping out with the sale!

  14. JDRF Walk (5 SPOTS OPEN) • When • Sat. Oct. 5th 8am-12pm and Sun. Oct. 6th 7am-11am • Where: St. James Farm • If you already signed up, SEE US • What: Set up/tear down, cheering on and guiding walkers, passing out water, etc. Proceeds go towards Diabetes research!

  15. Fall Festival (FULL) • When: Oct. 5th 1pm-4 pm • Where: Westfield Elementary School (Mayfield Lane just south of 22nd Street, Glen Ellyn) • What:Helping with the kids’ game stations, face painting, etc.

  16. Homecoming DecorationsTIME CHANGE: 2:45-5:45ish • When: September 26th, 27th in the afternoon • Needed: 5 people to form committee (Plans how the hallway is decorated) SEE US UP FRONT • 10 additional volunteers to decorate

  17. Novice Show Ushering (FULL) • When: Friday - Sept. 27 - 6:30pm • Saturday - Sept. 28 - 1:00pm • Saturday - Sept. 28 - 6:30pm • Ushers shirts will be supplied. Each usher should wear either black or khaki pants - no shorts, sweats or jeans • Expect to stay ½ an hour after the show ends

  18. Long Term Events • Connection of Friends - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 3-6, and Saturday nights from 6-9 • Power Hour Tutoring - Wednesdays in the Edison LLC from 3:10-4:20pm (2 needed) • WDSRA – Info meetings: 10/1, 11/5, 6:30pm – 8:00pm; WDSRA Office (Boardroom) , 116 N. Schmale Rd; Carol Stream, IL. 60188 • Peoples’ Resource Center • See us if interested

  19. AAUW Book Drive • 1 Hour/couple of books • That means more than 3! • What You Can Donate: Chapter books, picture books, etc. NOT textbooks, audiobooks, or CD’s. • Due By: Nov. 13th
