What is a Babynurse? • A Babynurse is a newborn specialist with a deep understanding of the developmental stages of infants. • A Babynurse is current with the latest newborn philosophies and standards. • A Babynursewill help teach you how to care for your newborn, including bathing techniques , feeding, diapering, dressing, how to do the baby’s laundry and the maintenance of your baby’s nursery. • A Babynursewill help to get the baby on a schedule, which will also help the parent’s sleeping pattern once the Babynurse leaves.

Do I need a Babynurse? • Will I need rest after giving birth? • Will I need help with breastfeeding and/or pumping? • Could I use some help establishing a schedule formy baby? • Will an extra pair ofexperienced hands make mefeel more secure? • Will having someone experienced in umbilical cord and circumcision care be of value to me? • These are just some of the solutions a Babynurse will help bring to the family.

What are the costs? • Babynurses base their rates on 22 hour days; their average daily rates after taxes are: • $250-350.00 for one child • $350-450.00 for twins • $450-600.00 for triplets • Pavillion’s Fee is in addition to the Babynurses salary. • Pavillion does not charge Babynurses for placement.
