ACH Connectors PURPOSE: To introduce the ACH crimp style wire-to-board and wire-to-wire connector series.
ACH Connectors PROBLEM: Many applications require a wire-to-board connector that is sub-miniature in size and that offers engineers design flexibility. SCRIPT: The ACH series wire-to-board connectors are on a 1.2mm (.047”) pitch, molded in a 94V0 PBT, SMT compatible, polarized and have a secure friction locking feature when mated. These low profile connectors have a height of only 1.4mm (.055”) and a width of 4.3mm (.169”).
ACH Connectorscrimp style wire-to-board connector series SCRIPT: The ACH crimp style wire-to-board connector series is available in 2, 3 and 4 circuits and will accept either a wire range of 28AWG to 30AWG. The 2 and 3 circuit connectors are rated at 2.0 amp AC/DC using a 28AWG wire, have a rating of 50 volts AC/DC and operate in a temperature range of -25 degrees centigrade to +85 degrees centigrade. The 4 circuit connector is rated at 1.5 amp AC/DC using a 28AWG wire, has a rating of 50 volts AC/DC and operates in a temperature range of -25 degrees centigrade to +85 degrees centigrade.
ACH Connectorscrimp style wire-to-board contacts Socket Contact SCRIPT: The ACH contacts which are designed to accommodate either a 28AWG or 30AWG are gold plated over a nickel –undercoated copper alloy base material.
ACH Connectors Socket Housing Socket Housing Header SCRIPT: The ACH crimp style wire-to-board connectors offer design flexibility. Uniquely constructed, these connectors feature a socket half that is mated with the header from the vertical direction, while the wires come out of the socket connector in the horizontal direction. Removing the socket connector from the header is also in a vertical direction. This construction allows the placement of the header anywhere on the printed circuit board. This flexibility enables components to be placed all around the connector header without causing any connector mating concerns.
ACH Headers SCRIPT: RoHS compliant (lead free) 94V0 PBT surface mount headers are available in side (right angle) mount. Header contacts are gold-plated (nickel stripe), copper alloy, nickel-undercoated and reinforcements (for additional mechanical strength) which are tin plated nickel-undercoated copper alloy.. Headers are provided on embossed tape for automatic insertion equipment.

Both the plug and socket housing are molded in a UL94V0 PBT. The connector is rated at 2.0 amp AC/DC using a 28AWG wire, have a rating of 50 volts AC/DC and operate in a temperature range of -25 degrees centigrade to +85 degrees centigrade.

THE ACH SERIES IS ENGINEERING & MANUFACTURING FREINDLY SCRIPT: Applicators are available for semi-automatic and fully automatic termination equipment normally found in the manufacturing environment as well as standard hand tools. Standard reels (30,000 pieces) are available for manufacturing. Contacts are available in 1,000 piece mini reels for engineering, lab and pre-production requirements.
