  1. Oregon DQP Progress to Date 2/13/13

  2. Blue Mountain CC BMCC didaDQPorientationandexerciseatour2012-13professionaldevelopment preservice. Theexerciseinvolvedallfull-timefacultymembers, whomappedoneoftheircoursesontheDQPspiderweb. Thiswasavaluableexercise, asthefacultygota goodsenseofnotonlytheDQPareas, butofhowtheseinterplayinandbetween coursesaswellaswithinadegree.

  3. Clatsop CC For ourlowerdivisiontransferclasses, weare forminganadvisorycommitteemadeof4yearuniversityprofessorstohelpusalignoutcomesin thoseclassestoour4yearpartners.

  4. Columbia Gorge CC Columbia Gorge CC hasscheduledaworksessioninMarchtoreviewandpossibly reviseourcoreeducationaloutcomes.

  5. Oregon Coast CC Our NationalVisitingCommitteefor theAquariumScienceProgramisintownthisweek. TheDQPwillbeintroducedtothemin additiontotheirregularannual programreview. (We are interested in ) seeinghowothercollegesareusingtheDQPaspartofprogramassessmentandimprovement.

  6. Oregon Institute of Technology June 2012—the DQPcampusteamwasappointedbytheProvostandheldaninitialmeeting. October2012—the DQPteamattendedtheOctoberDQPconferenceandreportedbacktothe Executive Committee oftheAssessmentCommission. January29, 2013—theProvostissuedachargetoreviewgeneraleducationatOregonTech usingtheDQPasacomparisontool. February2013—theProvostisforminganadhoccommitteeforthis3yearreviewprocess. February2013—onetechnicalandonealliedhealthprogramhavebeentargetedtomap programoutcomestotheDQPandprovidefeedbackontheprocess.

  7. Southern Oregon University We chose twopilotprogramstostarttheprocess, andweintendtoexpandthescopeinthecomingyears. Additionally, wesimplifiedtheinstitutionalengagementbylesseningtherequirementsfor programevaluationcompletion, namelywearenotrequiringthedefinitionofindividualcourse objectivesatthistime. WhileweunderstandyourreasonforcontinuingwiththeDQPproject,wearestillunsureaboutthe“howthiswillbenefitus”.

  8. Tillamook Bay CC Completing firstDQPspider web hasledtoidentificationofcourseandprogramoutcomestobe revisedtomake(them) more measurableforassessmentofachievement.
