  • Support – self or supporting people funded.

  • Provider assessment of SP eligible costs

  • Universal provision, not needs based
  • Snapshot surveys:
    • 47% low/no support needs
    • 60% lettings to under 65 year old
    • 53% low housing need bands
  • Variations in quality & cost
  • Potential negative aspects – promotion of dependency.
  • Local Authority efficiencies to be achieved

  • Future options reviewed with each provider
  • Consultation with tenants by providers

  • Floating support commissioned where required
