  2. Instructional Vision As a prospective leader, I envision creating a positive school culture, placing emphasis on professional growth and student achievement. Through the utilization of professional development and action research, staff members will become lifelong learners and reflective individuals. Teachers will employ analytical skills while assessing his or her teaching practices, and they will make the necessary changes to better educate students. Collegial and collaborative efforts would be enacted in order to foster better communication amongst faculty and staff. Optimal educational experiences for students will be achieved through applying best practices. School decisions will be data driven focusing on overall improvement for both faculty and students.

  12. Curriculum, Assessment & Instructional Leader • Grade level meetings where we discuss what is working and what is not working with students. Collaborate rearranging curriculum objectives and using teaching strategies that benefits students the most • Create unit test for reading and Social Studies across grade level • Conduct writing workshop

  13. Data Analysis Leader • meeting to analyze county checkpoint scores • Review ITBS scores and make modifications in lesson to address areas of concern • Analyzed writing scores and group children according to their level

  14. Performance Leader • Work closely with team teacher to implement after school tutorial to possible retention candidates

Operations Leader • Organize and distribute manipulative to enhance students understanding of a concept (Distribute text books, videos, and CDs to team members). • Conduct Inventory on books and resources • Car duty every 5 weeks which consists of opening car doors and relaying any important school updates.

  20. Summary Overall, the courses and experiences that I have received have been very beneficial. I have gained a wealth of knowledge that will aid me on my journey to become an effective leader. Although I have keen insight on the roles that an administrator play, I still need more experience and knowledge before becoming an administrator.
