CTC Process • Acquire Bid Tab(s) from local DOT • Acquire the Bid Tab(s) project length, roadway width, & surface thickness • Identify the route on a detailed map • Using the map and the classification worksheet, determine what the BIA class is for the representative bid tab(s) • Enter in the CTC worksheet all the bid items with unit and total costs • Classify each bid item into each of the four CTC categories • The CTC worksheet will then calculate the CTC for all ASC and class of roads • Print out the worksheets and submit the data with bid abstracts and other supporting documents to BIADOT
