NADI UKM: Bus Schedule & Alerts Mobile App

NADI UKM is a mobile application designed to help UKM students manage their time efficiently by providing updated bus schedules and alerts, reducing lateness to classes. The app allows users to track bus locations via GPS and plan their commute accordingly. It aims to improve students' punctuality and campus experience.

Introduction • Problem : Majority of the UKM students, especially the first-year students have problems related with the bus. • The students unable to manage their time efficiently, due to the unexpected bus arrivals. • Some of the students arrived late --- unable to participate or focus in the class. • Through this problem, we decided to develop a mobile application that can help the students arrive at their faculty earlier.

  3. Solution • Based on the problems stated, we decided to introduce an application named NADI UKM. • NADI UKM is an application that provides the updated bus schedule and route. • The users or specifically, the students are able to manage their time to arrive at their faculty at the right time. • The application able to alert the students when their selected bus is arriving.

NADI UKM • Helps to alert the students when their bus is arriving. • Avoid the students missed the bus and need to wait for the next bus, which can take a lot of time. • The new students can be guided through the newly updated bus route. • NADI UKM also can reduce the number of students being late to class and to educate the students to right on time.

NADI UKM • How the application works : • The users selects one of the option; DRIVER or STUDENT • DRIVER will be linked to the login page, representing the bus location by using GPS. • STUDENT will be linked to the next interface, which they need to select the next process that they want to do. SEARCH BUS or BUS ROUTE. • The students current location also will be detected using GPS, as they don’t need to input their current place. • The application provides the estimated arriving time for the users that wanted to ride the bus.
