Turningpoint is a version of Powerpoint that allows you to create questions and then collect answers from the audience. • To do this you need to create an interactive slide.
Creating an interactive slide • Open TurningPoint • Start a new presentation or open an existing presentation • Using the TurningPoint toolbar or ribbon, insert a slide. • Many slide types to choose from – experiment with them… • Type the question and answers in the appropriate text boxes.
To select the correct answer • Office 2003 • Highlight the correct answer • Right Click • Set as correct • Office 2007 • Select correct answer in task pane • To mark the correct answer • On TurningPoint toolbar/ribbon go to Insert Object • Correct Answer Indicator
Tips… • When you open your presentation, you must open it from within Turningpoint. • If you open the file from outside of the program, it will open as a normal Powerpoint presentations and not work with the clickers.
To use for grading or attendance • Students must register the ID of their clicker • Responses are recorded • Save the presentation before closing it
To use anonymously • Use unregistered clickers • Select anonymous polling • Don’t save the session

Don’t forget: You can copy-paste this slide into other presentations, and move or resize the poll.
