I was sick of constructing and maintaining my ‘personality’ on MySpace, Facebook’s default profile took the peer pressure off Facebook was a lot easier to use you didn’t have to worry about formatting the HTML code right, or what song to embed on your profile altogether easier Facebook was kinder to my bandwidth allowance. It didn’t take 5 minutes to load a page filled with gifs, sparkly effects, a song, videos or anything else; Facebook walls were instant The privacy settings on Facebook were more advanced, my parents were more comfortable with my presence there All my friends seemed to be moving to Facebook. It was a matter of no one to interact with on MySpace anymore
