3. Requirement
This subj is studied by the students of Telecommunication Engineering to have a deep understanding of map versus ground relationship which will enable them to make optimum use of maps in planning their communication networks.
Pre-Requisite
The students are expected to have basic knowledge of trigonometry to understand this subj.

Note:
All students are advised to be always in possession of electronic calculators while coming for survey class.
The students must attend all classes in general and all practicals in particulars as marks are earmarked for each session.
Practical work will not stop due to cold weather or rain. Students may like to arrange necessary protective measures.
Class senior will hand over written parade state/attendance report before start of each class.
During field work students must not look at sun through the telescope of a theodolite or a level
