ADVANTAGES OF THE PROPOSED PROGRAM • Addition of 1 Hour for EE 409 & ICS 101 each. • Strengthen math and physics contents of the program. • Linear systems concepts are presented in EE 2xx. • A New course that covers probabilistic methods in electrical engineering EE 315 • New CIM elective. • Reduction of # Labs by 2 Labs. • New courses will emphasize design concepts & use of computers. • Satisfies the latest ABET requirements. • New electives to follow recent developments.

IMPLEMENTATION PLAN(Assuming the new curriculum is introduced in (961) • Students graduate according to the curriculum they enter by total credit hours. • EE 202 (old & new) will run in parallel for approx. 2 years. • EE 300 level courses are offered as per new description. • Old students are advised to take MATH 3xx as Tech. elective before taking EE 340, 380. • Offer MATH 3xx as MATH elective for old students. • All EE electives are to be offered according to new curriculum. • EE 315 is to be offered from (961). All students can take it instead of STAT 315. • New EE 202, 205 will be offered starting (972).
