List & Answer all Learning Objectives found on p. 403 • Be able to label the respiratory image on p. 405 & functions of all the organs (use your respiratory quiz as an example). • Understand and apply the vital capacity formulas from p.415 Define ERV, IRV, VC in your own words. • Be able to list location of all sinuses, adenoids/tonsils • Distinguish between respiratory & nonrespiratory zones • List all nonrespiratory noises • Know the differences between the 3 regions of pharynx • When does surfactant develop in babies? • How the respiratory rate changes with different ages. • Factors that affect respiratory rate (age, pH, etc.)
