  2. Make the indirect sentence of the following Direct : Pravish said to Radha,”You missed the train” Indirect : Pravish told Radha that she had missed the train.

  3. Make the indirect sentence of the following Direct : Sunita said ,”I can win the race tomorrow ” Indirect : Sunita told that she could win the race next day.

  4. Make the indirect sentence of the following Direct : Akash said to Isha,”Did you see this movie ?” Indirect : Akash asked Isha if/whether she had seen that movie.

  5. Make the indirect sentence of the following Direct : Praveen said to Radha,”May I come in ?” Indirect : ? Praveen asked Radha if he might come in.

  6. Make the indirect sentence of the following Direct : He said to me ,”I don’t believe you” Indirect : He said he didn’t believe me.

  8. Make the indirect sentence of the following Direct : He said,”I am glad to be here this evening.” Indirect : He told that he was glad to be there that evening.

  10. Make the indirect sentence of the following Direct : He says,”I am glad to be here this evening.” Note : The changes do not occur if the speech is reported during the same period or at the same place Indirect : He says he is glad to be here this evening.

  11. Note…. • In reporting a question the Indirect Speech is introduced by some such verbs as ASKED or INQUIRED………
