  9. Work with English Central Get a microphone & plug it into your computer. Log in to the computer (or ask Kristi to log you in). Double-click on Google Chrome. Type http://kweis.wikispaces.com into Google Chrome. Click on Pronunciation Class on the left side of the page. Click on the English Central link. Practice Pronunciation (videos with /ɪ/, /i:/, and /ɜ/).

  10. Diagnostic Pronunciation Test Go to http://kweis.wikispaces.com. Click on Pronunciation Class on the left. Click on the Audio Dropboxbox under Week 3. Type your name. Record yourself reading the Pronunciation Diagnostic paragraph.

  11. Homework Listen closely to the native speakers you hear this week. Write down at least 3 times when you listened for the vowel sounds we heard in class. Make notes of any differences you heard. Go to Kristi’s site http://kweis.wikispaces.com to review and practice on EnglishCentral.com. Bring money for your book.
