Traoré : Administrative contact of .ml CONCEPT OF ADMINISTRATION .ML • Consensus approach with ISP • Looking for experiences cross the world • Elaboration of two documents witch fixed the rules (hearchies of domains and rules of administration each domain) • Localisation of .ML to SOTELMA • Mixed administration (person and SOTELMA) • Maintainning of domains witch are existing AFTLD MEETING APRIL 2008 JOHANNESBURG

Traoré : Administrative contact of .ml CONCEPT OF ADMINISTRATION .ML • Structuration in two levels and creation of it if needed (.com.ml, .net.ml, .gov.ml, .edu.ml, .prm.ml, etc…) • About 20 domains in the beginning • No automatic registration • No realy marketing around .ml • Registration fee about 40 euros but no yet apply • Registration of national’s structure AFTLD MEETING APRIL 2008 JOHANNESBURG

Traoré : Administrative contact of .ml MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE, AND ITSSTRATEGIC OBJECTIVES • Now Agency want take administration • établir à travers une nouvelle Convention, une relation permanente technique et administrative avec l’Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) afin de garantir une présence et une visibilité continues de l’extension nationale et celles des noms de domaine y afférents ; • donner des orientations pour la bonne marche du .ml et veiller à son bon fonctionnement ; • mettre en place une procédure d’inscription sur le .ml ; • fixer les conditions d’accessibilité et d’utilisation du .ml ; • agréer des bureaux d’enregistrement et enregistrer les noms de domaine demandés par les bureaux accrédités ; • assurer la maintenance des bases de données et des services de recherche publics.
