Tượng đúc, là thầy giả dối, thi có ích gì, mà người thợ làm thần tượng câm ấy lại tin cậy nơi việc mình làm ra?Khốn tay cho kẻ nói với gỗ rằng: Hãy tỉnh thức! và với đá câm rằng: Hãy chổi dậy! Nó có dạy dỗ được chăng? nầy, nó là bọc vàng và bạc, song chẳng có một chút hơi thổ nào ở giữa nó.Nhưng Đức Giê-hô-va ở trong đền thánh của Ngài, trước mặt Ngài, cả đất hãy làm thinh!

  3. “Of what value is an idol carved by a craftsman?    Or an image that teaches lies?For the one who makes it trusts in his own creation;    he makes idols that cannot speak.Woe to him who says to wood, ‘Come to life!’    Or to lifeless stone, ‘Wake up!’Can it give guidance?    It is covered with gold and silver;    there is no breath in it.” The Lord is in His holy temple; let all the earth be silent before Him.

  7. Nhưng nếu chúng ta bước đi trong ánh sáng như chính Ngài ở trong ánh sáng, chúng ta có sự hiệp thông với nhau, và huyết Ðức Chúa Jesus Con Ngài làm sạch mọi tội chúng ta.
