“The Hugger”. A tribute. As I attended my daughter’s graduation, I began to realize that one teacher seemed very affectionate with the students. I call her “the hugger.” A hug is a handshake from the heart.  ~Author Unknown. “Wow, I remember this kid, I must block his way and get a hug!”.

  2. As I attended my daughter’s graduation, I began to realize that one teacher seemed very affectionate with the students. I call her “the hugger.” • A hug is a handshake from the heart.  ~Author Unknown

  4. “That pain medication is making me feel very affectionate…I love these kids!”

  5. “He tried to pat my back, but I said, ‘no, you must hug me to pass.’”

  6. “I’ll miss you all so much!”

  7. “You’re such a special girl, what’s your name again?”

  8. “Oooops, guess he didn’t remember me from that one day when I walked by his classroom two years ago…no worries, I’ll hug the next one…”

  10. “Oh, are we holding up the line?”

  11. “I’m back on track, getting that full body hug on!”

  12. Student: Okay okay let go now

  14. Student: Okay lady, let go now

  15. Was there a kiss involved?

  17. Student: I don’t know you lady, but okay, I just graduated, and I’m happy!

  18. Anxiously waiting for that next hug

  20. Student: woman, I don’t know you…

  21. “I guess if they won’t hug me, I’ll have to touch them as they pass.”
