  1. Thing to Know About Uganda Mountain Gorilla Trek In Uganda, where can you really see gorillas? In Uganda, mountain gorillas can be found in two nationalreserve. These are the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and the Virunga Mountains' Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Both parks are located in south-western Uganda and give the chance to witness mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Around 80 mountain gorillas live in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, two of which have been domesticated for visitors. Approximately 400 mountain gorillas live in Bwindi Impenetrable Nature Reserve, accounting for approximately half of the world's population. Visitors have been acclimated to fourteen gorilla families.

  2. Best time to visit for gorilla trekking: Although gorilla mountaineering is considered a year-round pastime in Uganda, The ideal time to see orangutans in Uganda is around January or February. It's one of the dry periods, making wildlife tracking and viewing simpler. Also, there are fewer trekkers, which mean fewer gorilla permits are available. Even during the monsoon season, gorilla tours are available. The rainy season increases the amount of food available on the lower slopes. This makes it easy to locate the gorillas (generally only about 2-hours of trekking). The tropical forest will also be densely forested, making it ideal for photography. The average cost for gorilla safari: If you wish to undertake gorilla trekking, you should do it as part of a safari or tour. The majority of such safaris are all-inclusive, with the agents taking care of everything. Some tour firms include lodging in their prices. The most affordable gorilla safari in Uganda is: $1,100 for a one-day gorilla trek,$1,280 for a two-day gorilla safari,$1,450 for a three-day gorilla tour. These are Uganda's lowest average gorilla tour prices. The cost of a luxury package can range from US$4,000 to US$6,000. Gorilla Uganda Tours is a very popular sport in Uganda, and you should plan at least two months ahead of time to avoid being disappointed due to limited availability.
