  2. EXPERIMENT Aim . . . To study the relationship between the air temperature and the severity of air pollution. Statement of the problem . . . Does the air temperature being affected by air pollution?

  3. Hypothesis . . . If the air is more polluted, the higher the air temperature. Variables . . . Pollutants in the air Manipulated Variable . . . Air Temperature Responding Variable . . . Constant Variable . . . Location of the experimentation Apparatus . . . Thermometer

  4. Procedure . . . • A specific location in a rural area is chosen. • The air temperature is taken twice daily, in the morning and in the evening. • Each reading is taken twice to ensure the precision and accuracy of the data. • Steps 1 to 3 are to be repeated for 7 days continuously. • All observations are tabulated.
