Go straight to section you are interested in by scrolling through menu or play the entire movie (66 minutes)

Menu broken up by topic and also by page number of the online application. For example, any videos pertinent to page 1 will be labeled 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, etc.

Tips Before Starting
  • Complete your application EARLY! The application filing period is October 1 – November 31. Don’t wait until the end of November!
  • Read the Application Filing Status Report for the campus.
  • Have a copy of all your transcripts and test scores so you can accurately enter the information in CSU Mentor.
  • Have your SAT scores sent to CSU Mentor – institution code 3594. ACT scores must be sent to Cal State San Marcos and each school to which you apply.
  • Application fee: $55 – nonrefundable and can be paid online by credit card or by check
