  3. Selection • Students must meet CSU admission requirements and eligibility index • 10th and 11th grade academic GPA used to determine eligibility • SAT or ACT is required regardless of GPA. Must take exams by the Dec. 2012 test date. • Subject requirements must be met by graduation; no summer work will be allowed to meet admission requirements. It is the student’s responsibility to check his/her student portal account and campus e-mail often, as these are the official communication methods of CSU, Chico.

Early Start Program (ESP) • EPT/ELM status conveyed in offer of admission packet. • If EPT/ELM status is unavailable or ESP is needed, then communicated via email. • Students select Early Start plan through Smart Page in Student Portal. • Chico communicates via email to student on how to enroll in ESP courses.

Associate Degrees for Transfer AA-T and AS-T • New degree pathway for streamlined transfer and graduation • 2yrs + 2yrs (60 + 60); if student enrolls in a CSU “similar” degree program, s/he is guaranteed to complete degree in 2 years or 60 units once they transfer • CSU, Chico has approved all 18 “similar” programs available as of 7/30/12. • Chico’s 2 impacted programs are not currently approved as “similar.”
