  2. What are the major organs of the system? • The major organs are, • Kidneys • Liver • Bladder • Skin • Urethra

  3. What are there jobs? • There jobs are to remove waste material from the body

  4. What are the major functions of the system? • The major functions of the excretory system is that it is the part of the body responsible for moving waste materials. The body parts area is reasonable for other functions outside the waste

  5. Why is the system important to survival? • It helps get rid of the toxic waste in your body. If the toxic waste doesn’t get out of the body you will die

  6. Diseases and Disorders • Some diseases and disorders are • Gout • Nephritis • Urinary Tract Infections • Bladder Infections • Kidney Stones • Diabetes-problems with insulin or glucose

Vocabulary • Endocrine system-a series of glands that control body processes via the hormones they produce • Glomerulus-In the kidney, a tiny ball-shaped structure composed of capillary blood vessels actively involved in the filtration of the blood to form urine • Bladder- Any pouch or other flexible enclosure that can hold liquids or gases but usually refers to the hollow organ in the lower abdomen that stores urine
