  2. Meet the core competencies identified for state managers and supervisors. Provide a consistent training curriculum to attract and retain seasoned leaders. Develop employees who will be rising to fill vacant positions. Purpose Executive Briefing - MVP Program

  3. Provide a consistent Commonwealth of Virginia management philosophy and application of leadership skills. Build common statewide management curriculum for supervisors and managers. Teach and reinforce effective managerial and supervisory techniques. Lay solid framework for agency succession planning. Give agencies access to training without direct cost to them.   4. Builds baseline of management skills for all state leaders. Increases opportunities to establish fairness and equity in the workplace. Realization of improved employee relationships with management teams.
