  2. 主讲教师 简介(1) • 翁凤翔,教授,硕士; • 研究方向:商务英语学、商务翻译学。 • 中国国际商务英语研究会副主任; • 上海海事大学国际商务英语系主任; • 国际航运(商务)英语研究所所长; • 英国伯明翰城市大学商学院客座教授。 • 出版国际商务、国际贸易、商务英语专著4部,主编国际商务、商务英语丛书4套18本,辞书两部,商务英语VCD及教材一套,论文18篇,论文、著作共发表出版50余篇/本。 主持上海市学科建设项目二项。

  3. 主讲教师简介(2): 硕士生导师,硕士学位点国际商务文献翻译方向负责人,商务英语学科带头人。 2000年6—8月在德国汉诺威参加世博会从事国际商务工作; 2002――2003年在英国伯明翰城市大学商学院做访问教授 ,并与剑桥大学国际商务英语证书考试中心专家合作进行商务英语测试课题研究; 2010年7--8月在英国朴茨茅斯大学做商务英语专题研究;兼任一些大学客座教授和一些国际公司国际商务顾问。 • 爱好:音乐(小提琴)

  7. Business English (BE)商务英语 English language which is used in doing int’l business in such fields as int’l trade, int’l marketing, int’l finance, etc.& which carries message either of corporate business texts or of academic business texts.

  8. BE Studies(BES)商务英语学 It is an independent discipline which studies the laws of BE education / teaching as well as the laws of English used in cross-cultural business communication.

  9. 商务英语学 一门研究商务英语教育规律、教学规律以及英语在跨文化商务交际中被使用规律的学科。

  10. BES商务英语学---三级学科 An independent discipline : Linguistics Applied Linguistics BES

  11. MaBES(宏观商务英语学) It is a branch of BES, which studies the relationship between BE education and international business practice, the relationship between BES and IBS (international business studies), and which studies cross-cultural business communication in English.

  12. 宏观商务英语学 • 是研究商务英语教育与国际商务实践之间的关系、商务英语学与国际商务学之间的关系以及研究用英语进行跨文化商务交际的商务英语学分支学科。

  13. MiBES • It is a branch of BES, which studies the relationship between BE subject and BE object and studies how to obtain the maximum effect of BE teaching.

  14. 微观商务英语学 • 是研究商务英语教育主体与商务英语教育客体之间的关系和研究如何获得最佳商务英语教学效果的商务英语学的分支学科。

  15. (2) General BE(GBE) & Specific BE(SBE)普通商务英语与专业商务英语 • General BE: Business English that covers the fields of international business. • Specific BE: Business English that is used in practice and theory of a certain branch in int’l business.

  17. (3) 英语语言商务专业 (English Language and Business) 指与英语语言文学专业平行的商务英语专业。

  18. 英语语言商务专业与英语语言文学专业的差异:英语语言商务专业与英语语言文学专业的差异: • 相同点: 两者皆是英语语言专业; • 不同点: 英语语言文学专业: 着重英语语言学和文学知识的学习; 英语语言商务专业: 着重国际商务知识及其运作技能的学习。

  19. (3)公共商务英语 (BE for Non-BE Majors, BNBM) 公共商务英语指非英语专业的大学生所学的“大学商务英语”,是大学生在完成了大学英语阶段后所学习的普通(综合)商务英语。

  20. (4)应用商务英语 (Applied BE) • 应用商务英语是商务英语学的分支,它运用商务英语学原理来研究英语在国际商务各领域所使用的规律以及运用这些规律指导商务英语实践与商务英语教学。 • 应用商务英语侧重对商务英语教学政策和方案的研究,以总结经验、教训,以解决问题和运用商务英语理论中的规律与原则为主。

(5)理论商务英语 (Theoretical BE,TBE) • 理论商务英语涉及商务英语理论研究的各个方面。如:商务英语文体学、商务英语翻译学、商务英语跨文化交际学、商务英语教育学,商务英语学科建设等。在商务英语学中,理论商务英语成为整个商务英语学科发展的基础。 • 理论商务英语从非经验的角度,通过分析(analyze)、综合(synthesize)、归纳(induce)、类比(analogize)、假设(hypothesize)、抽象(abstract)、演绎(deduce)或推理(infer)等多种理论思维的方式,对商务英语现象进行探索,对商务英语学自身发展中的一些问题进行反思。它在商务英语学中的地位就如理论物理学、理论化学在物理学和化学中一样,是商务英语学科体系中不可缺少的一个部分。

  27. Action Research & BE • 行动研究是一种研究范式,是在真实自然的教育环境中,实践者按照一定的运作程序,利用多种研究方法与技术,以达到解决教育实践中实际存在的问题为首要目标的一种研究范式。

Action Research Background: • It appeared in the social science study in 1940s in the USA. • John.Colliar, an America social worker & Kurl.Lewin, an American Social psychologist raised the concept. • In 1953, Stephen M. Corey, first systematically applied action research to education practice.

  29. In 1970s, this approach became much more popular in education research work.

  30. Action Research in China • Action research was introduced to the mainland of China in the beginning of 1980s; • Around 1995, more scholars showed interest in action research. • At present, action research is widely applied in education practice in China.

  31. The Core of Action Research 1. No research without action, and no action without research. 没有无行动的研究,也没有无研究的行动” 2. Doing research by the actual worker in the actual working process, sometimes jointly with professional researcher. 3. Applying the achievements to solving the existing problems in the work.

  32. How to Do Action Research • to ask a question concerning the existing problem; • to plan about how to research into the problem; • to take action to fulfill the scheduled plan; • to observe the response of the people involved in the research; • to review and reflect on the outcome of the research and draw conclusions ( and start another circle of research if necessary.)   33. Processes of Action Research 1. to find out the problem; 2. to look into the problem; 3. to re-recognize the problem; 4. to make an action plan; 5. to carry out the plan; 6. to collect data; 7. to reflect and comment on the effect; 8. to compile a research report.
