What is Microsoft SharePoint • Microsoft SharePoint is an intranet-based collaboration system that makes use of workflow applications, list databases, and other web parts & security features to enable business teams to work better together. • SharePoint also allows the company using the platform to control access to information and automate workflow processes across verticals within the organization. • SharePoint Online is the Microsoft Cloud version of SharePoint, which has several additional integration abilities with other cloud-based applications. • It is functionally paired with several other offerings that Microsoft packages with an Office 365 or Microsoft 365 license.
