Mitigations and on-going patches • Cryo equipment • Auto-reset PLC (Cryogenic Profibus) Relocation at long term • 24 Vdc power supply replacement for PLC in QURCxx systems • Temporary mask of the temperature sensors for Cryogenic (lower temp sensor needs reset as well ) Hardware change at long term • Analysis of the PLC failure mode (P4 and P6) at H4IRRAD: • a) PLCs redundancy: (possibly); • b) PLCs (Schneider) deported from the remote I/O (XMAS break) • QPS • Firmware to mitigate SEU due to ISO150 (reset of the board in the shadow of operation) • Hardware updates for the Xmas break and for the LS1 • Collimator • Power supply redundancy • Watch dog to survey stuck bits • Relocation at long term (LS) • B/P/WIC • Relocation from the UJ56

  7. Lab 530 • Lab 530/R005: the only classified area for destructive and non-destructive works on electronics boards • A temporary solution waiting for the building 867 • Building 867 not yet ready. Some works to be completed + RP classification.March 2012? • RP point of view: declassification of the 530 when 867 is ready. Make sense. • However TSO is requiring the Lab 530/R-005 • Use of the Lab: RadMons + some external requests (Accelerators and experiments groups). Too limited use to justify the lab? • No special requests from the groups for the next months. (Message sent to the RadWG mailing list)?
