  • The decision has been made to progressively introduce the internationally recognized ASYCUDA system from early 2006.
  • In the mean time, intensive IT equipment and support has been provided for ex-post computerization of SAD documents.

  • ASYCUDA implementation experts have been hired from Iran and UNCTAD to train the national ASYCUDA team and implement the system within the ACD.

  • ASYCUDA is the first national Complete computerization system in the civil service structure of Afghanistan

  • After Iran, Afghanistan became the first country to implement the UNCTAD developed system in the region
