  12. Group Discussion Planning, Stakeholder Involvement & Implementation of an integrated e-mobility strategy

  13. Group discussions 40 minutes Your task: • Choose a table (Planning, Stakeholder Involvement or Implementation) • Determine a time keeper / moderator • Appoint a spokesperson who will present the results • Read the case study and the specific group tasks • Discuss the specific group tasks • Visualise your findings on the pinboard • Identify your key takeaways

  14. Case Study Your country has proposed a conditional GHG emissions reduction of 25% in 2030 compared to the baseline scenario. The overall reduction target includes a 5% reduction in GHG emissions from the transport sector compared to the baseline scenario.  Currently, your country generates electricity mainly on fossil fuels, but also has a small and growing share of Renewable Energy. At the same time, the local transport demand is constantly increasing, in particular the private car fleet is growing at 10% per year. To prepare the most ambitious and achievable NDC for re-submission in 2020, how can your country maximize the emissions reduction contribution of the transport sector through planning and implementing an electric mobility strategy?
