Abb. 26.22 Bei Sunesis konnte eine neue allosterische Bindestelle entdeckt werden, die in ca. 20 Å Entfernung zum katalytischen Zentrum der Phosphatase vorliegt. 26.52 hemmt die PTP-1B 16fach stärker als TCPTP. Die Kristallstruktur mit PTP-1B zeigt, dass der Inhibitor praktisch das exponierte Phe 280 umklammert. In TCPTP befindet sich an gleicher Position ein Cys-Rest.
