  1. WEDNESDAY WEEKLY • Week of: • 3/10/14 • Please ask me: • About our Dr. Seuss guest readers • About our PSSA pep talk we are having on Thursday • CELEBRATING DR. SEUSS’S BIRTHDAY • We had a great time listening to our guest readers Monday! We listened to My Rotten Redheaded Older Brother. We also listened to Mrs. Godinez read Green Eggs and Hand or Huevos Verdes con Jamon, as we were read the Spanish version. It was a nice treat to enjoy some literature as we listened to our guests read to us! • REPORT CARDS • Report cards were handed out to those parents who attended conferences. The rest of the report cards will be handed out to students on Friday. Please return the envelope that the report card will be enclosed in, signed. You may keep the copy of the report card and comments inside. Please fee free to contact me with any questions or concerns! • MATH • We have continued to work on Chapter 7 in math. We will finish the lessons before PSSAs begin on the 24th, but will not test until after the test has been completed in the beginning of April. After testing has finished, we will go back and review the chapter before testing. • PSSA • We are getting closer to the start of our PSSA testing. While we have been discussing the importance of these tests and trying our very best, we’ve also discussed how students should not be getting stressed out about the testing. All we can ask is that the students try their very best. If they work and try their best, we will be proud of their efforts! Mr. Seillerand Mrs. Williams will be meeting with our team Thursday to discuss this same idea with the students. • IMPORTANT DATES • 3/19- Lower PTO Meeting • 3/24- Start of PSSA Testing
