What do i check when i am viewing a property
WHAT DO I CHECK WHEN I AM VIEWING A PROPERTY?

Condition of the property

Furniture is fire retardant

Fire safety features , e.g. smoke detectors, fire alarms and fire extinguishers

Electrical fittings correctly installed, e.g. no loose wires or faulty plugs

All gas appliances have a Gas Safety Certificate issued by a Registered Engineer.


What types of contracts are available
WHAT TYPES OF CONTRACTS ARE AVAILABLE?

  • Assured Shorthold Tenancy

  • Licence

  • It is advisable to get some assistance in checking any documents you have to sign

  • Pay the rent on time

  • Pay all the utility accounts

  • Keep the property clean and in good condition

  • Take out insurance for your own belongings
