What is a PID? • As faculty you will use a PID to access the new POLARIS system to • check your portfolio (address, etc.) • get your class rosters • search the new class schedule • Students will use a PID to • register for courses • check their grades • get their degree audits • check their financial aid status

  4. What is a NID? • A NID for students is used to • access university computers in labs • access the Pegasus server from home • access logon to Web CT • A NID for faculty is the same as your Pegasus login • Faculty will follow the same procedures as they have in the past

  5. Where can you get your PID? • Use Internet Explorer • Go to https://connect.ucf.edu • Use Click here to get your PID and NID

  6. OR Go to POLARIS at https://polaris.ucf.edu/ • Click on Class Rosters, Enrollment, Instructor Schedule • Follow directions for getting your PID and NID
