Flexible working - why? • New (ish) HR legislation supports a flexible approach by employers to employees needs • Improved recruitment and retention from opportunities for better work / life balance • Opportunity to work within modern new office space • E-government targets (IEG4 PSOs) • Gershon report advises reduction in property costs • Opportunity to reduce office costs @ £255 sqm/yr (= approx £2000 per person)
