Satutes requirements according to the Latvian legislation (2) • General meeting • to be hold once a year as a minimum; • Decision shall be adopted if the votes of more than half of the members present; • Board and its members (number, chairman); • Auditor (cannot be member of the board; • Membership fee shall be set.

  5. Proposal of the French Chamber of Agriculture • Objectives: • improve the quality and efficiency of agricultural and rural advisory services; • foster innovation; • develop cooperation between advisory services; • provide feedback to policy makers and other partners.

Proposal of the French Chamber of Agriculture (2) • Members of the EUFRAS: • European organizations involved in agricultural and rural advisory services, including the training of advisers or the production of documents destined to advisers; • public institutions and organisations, semi-public or public equivalent bodies, semi-public or public equivalent bodies, private consulting companies; • Agricultural and rural advice should represent a significant part of the organisation’s activity (for example more than 50%.

  7. Another issues to discuss • Membership fee; • EUFRAS as an European, not only EU member state’s organisation; • Shall different level organisations have different number of votes in General Assembly? • Number of the board members; • Other?
