1. Top Orthodontist | Invisalign | Braces | Cheyenne | Torrington WY Dr. Callie Owen Holwegner was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She is truly a hometown girl, attending elementary school, junior high and high school in Cheyenne before studying at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, followed by her Master of Science degree in Oral biology and a certificate in Orthodontics, all at the University Of Nebraska Medical Center College Of Dentistry. She is so excited to be back in Cheyenne to share her passion for orthodontics with her patients. Dr. Holwegner is involved in the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, Laramie County Dental Society and the Wyoming Dental Association. The research completed by Dr. Holwegner while she was in her residency has been published in three journal publications in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, the Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and Arthritis Research and Therapy; three very creditable journals in the dental field. In addition to mastering traditional bracket systems, Dr. Holwegner is able to confidently provide treatment with Invisalign® due to her travels to attend courses dedicated specifically to this subject.
