  2. Descriptions • Journalism is in which photography dominates written copy, as in certain magazines. • Journalism in which a news story is presented primarily through photographs with supplementary written copy.

  3. Descriptions • photojournalist's job is to accurately and informatively make photographs of an event, person or issue • photojournalists work with 35mm, SLR cameras. High-end Nikons and Canons are the most popular. • They take pictures of a little bit of everything…

Education Needed • a degree in photography is essential but it sure helps as you will encounter a lot of technically challenging and stressfull situations in competitive environments. • called the newspaper and setup a portfolio meeting. Your portfolio should be perfect, it should have only just enough pictures showing your ability. • It is probably a good idea to have it edited by a pro first, you only get one chance really.

  5. SalaRy eaRn... • Photojournalist’s salaries in this field can range from $12,000 to around $50,000 • depending on experience, location and ability.

  6. Why this caReeR? • We choose this career because we think it is really interesting and how neat people do their job. • Another reason is that a photojournalist gets to take pictures all around the world. • And they get paid at a good wage.
