Lithuanian wood industry • The total forest land areais 2,159,800 ha, • It iscovering 33.1% of thecountry’sterritory. • Since the 1st January 2003, the forest land area has increased by 114,500 hacorrespondingto 1.8% of the total forest cover. During thesame period, forest stands expanded by 99,900 ha to 2,050,900 h
