Heads-up Stage 2 • Consortia • To commit to partnerships for $ and shared service philosophies • To develop joint planning role for funding $ & local needs • No age limitations for consortia activities, work locally and across the sectors • Deliverables • Pathways, resources and tools • Joint planning and submissions for identified gaps • Complex Needs Assessment Panel extension for < 10 and 17-25 years • Branding, eg Friends of headspace • Early intervention pilot project in Primary schools • Training - Youth Mental Health First Aid Training, Dual diagnosis, Other training packages

Rapid Response Program • 31 referrals (April – 23 Sept) • 21 Lakeside • 10 headspace • 8 more since Sept • 21 female, 10 male • < 18 years 8 • 18-25 years 6 • <30 years 8 • <40 years 5 • <50 years 4 • Diagnosis • Borderline Personality +/- 13 • Substance Abuse 5 • Major Depressive Dis 5 • Other 8 • Sessions - 539 • 3 – 41 per client • 13 clients > than 20 • Face to face, telephone, partner/parent support, case conferences • DBT Groups - 136 sessions (12) • Outcomes to date • 13 discharges • MSSI and DASS scores reduced significantly • A&E, Hospital Admissions • Reduced significantly in chronic self harm clients • GP survey – positive response

Perinatal Depression Initiative • OUTCOMES • Established links with local maternal health and mental health services • Initial Pathway developed – available on GPGC website-feedback welcome • Community resources booklets developed • Pilot program for Perinatal Depression Group Programs underway. • Evaluation of programs both clinical content and outcomes and operationally to be undertaken.
