  10. Verbs that take the dative Credere - trust, believe agricolae civi optimo crediderunt. Favere- favor, support fautores candidato liberali favent. Respondere- respond filius patri non respondit.

  11. Pick which form of the noun should be used in the sentence. Then translate. Nauta agricola salutat. Nauta agricola favet. Iuvenis athleta credit. Fur candidatus pessimus non favet. Candidatus pueri pecuniam dat.

  12. Vos / Nos Can be declined like other words. Omnes nos laudant. Nemo pecuniam vobis dat.

  16. Questions • Question words -- Quis, Quid, Ubi, Cur cur estis laeti? • -ne -- creates a yes/no questions Vosne estis laeti? • num -- question suggesting the answer “no” num tristes estis? • tone of voice vos estis laeti?

  17. Question Words - Translate and Answer • Quot discipuli in Latina hodie? • Esne laetus? • Quot annos habes? • Latinam amas? • Quid colores geris?
